Where hotel guests plant trees

Room Mate Mario is proud to participate in this initiative, which allows us to contribute to environmental sustainability in a tangible and meaningful way. We started recently (3 months ago) and with the sum of each day we have planted 252 trees. This small action not only helps to reduce water and energy consumption, but also supports reforestation efforts and raises awareness among our guests. The feedback has been positive as our guests appreciate being part of a project that goes beyond comfort and really makes a difference.

Working with Hotels for Trees has transformed our guest experience, guests embrace the program as they genuinely want to make a difference during their stay. The program not only offsets our CO₂ emissions through tree planting, but also reduces emissions directly. Hotels for Trees is key in reaching our ambitious sustainability targets. The transparent reporting and measurable impact demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. Hotels for Trees doesn’t just plant trees, it plants the seeds for a more sustainable future in hospitality, and we’re proud to be growing that forest together.

Room Mate Aitana is truly proud to be part of Hotels for Trees. It’s such a simple yet meaningful way to make a positive impact—both for the planet and for our guests. For every day that housekeeping is not used, a tree is planted, and our guests really appreciate that. Many of them say they like being able to contribute to a greener world during their stay. It fits perfectly with our values as a hotel – being more conscious, more sustainable, and creating positive change together.

Before I started working at the Radisson Hotel & Suites, I was not familiar with Hotels for Trees. I’ve noticed that many of our guests value it, and instead of choosing a drink or points, they are more likely to opt for planting a tree. A few of my colleagues and I also go out to plant the trees ourselves, and we share this with our guests. They really appreciate it, and so far, we’ve already planted 2.496 trees. Personally, I think it’s a fantastic initiative, and we will definitely continue with it!

We’ve been working with Hotels for Trees for about three years now, and it’s been such a great experience. Our guests and staff have responded very positively, and it’s great to see how much they appreciate the sustainability effort. More and more, our guests want to know their stay is making a difference, and it’s been amazing seeing the impact. We love seeing all the trees being planted, and we’re excited to keep it going!

Our partnership with Hotels for Trees has had a significant impact. For every night a room does not need to be cleaned, a tree is planted. This helps us reduce our ecological footprint and allows us to contribute to a greener future. Our hotel guests have responded enthusiastically. As a result, we have already planted more than 3.500 trees (March 2025). We are proud of this partnership and look forward to creating even more positive change together.
