Room Mate Aitana is truly proud to be part of Hotels for Trees. It’s such a simple yet meaningful way to make a positive impact—both for the planet and for our guests. For every day that housekeeping is not used, a tree is planted, and our guests really appreciate that. Many of them say they like being able to contribute to a greener world during their stay. It fits perfectly with our values as a hotel – being more conscious, more sustainable, and creating positive change together.

Room Mate Mario is proud to participate in this initiative, which allows us to contribute to environmental sustainability in a tangible and meaningful way. We started recently (3 months ago) and with the sum of each day we have planted 252 trees. This small action not only helps to reduce water and energy consumption, but also supports reforestation efforts and raises awareness among our guests. The feedback has been positive as our guests appreciate being part of a project that goes beyond comfort and really makes a difference.

Sustainability is one of our core pillars; we strive to be a place of inspiration, where luxury and sustainability go hand in hand. That’s why we’re proud partners of Hotels for Trees. Since joining, 25% of our guests choose to participate. The collaboration adds an extra layer to the guest experience. Planting a tree is symbolic: representing growth, long‑term thinking, and a meaningful choice. It’s proof that sustainability doesn’t sacrifice comfort. Every tree planted contributes to a healthier planet, and together we make hospitality a force for good.

Since joining the Hotels for Trees initiative late 2022, we’ve seen an annual increase in guest participation. The ease at which our guests can participate and choose to contribute to a greener world is met with great enthusiasm. Resulting now in an average of ~1000 trees planted per month and since joining close to 18.000 trees. Being a Green Globe Platinum Member (certified for ten consecutive years), this initiative is not only a presentation of our own sustainability achievements but also resonates very well with today’s eco-conscious traveller.

Joining Hotels for Trees is easy: just hang the tag visibly if you’d like to skip room cleaning. You save time and make a bigger impact: for each skipped service, we plant a tree. This simple gesture leaves an impression and contributes to a greener future. To make a better world, it starts with yourself. That’s why we mention it both at check-in and in the room, to engage our guests. Thanks to Hotels for Trees, we’ve planted over 8,000 trees in three years. More hotels are joining, expanding the reach. We’re proud of our choice and inspire others to follow.
