In partnership with Fifteen Trees, your trees are planted in several locations in Victoria and Tasmania. All trees are indigenous to the area in which they are planted. They’re sourced from local independent nurseries and planted by community planting groups.

To ensure their viability, the trees are planted at the right time of year (April – September) by experienced planters and are protected with tree guards to give them a small microclimate in which to thrive. The trees are planted along waterways, roadside reserves, in parks and gardens, and as part of native corridors (or biolinks) between outcrops of native vegetation. The plantings provide habitat for many native species, including koalas, kangaroos, possums and many native birds such as Kookaburras, honeyeaters, rosellas and lorikeets.

Some of the locations in Victoria where trees are planted, are Port Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, The You Yangs, and The Brisbane Ranges. Some of the locations in Tasmania where trees are planted, are Huon Valley, Coal Creek and Wynyard.

With your help, we are restoring ecosystems, increasing biodiversity, providing important habitat for native animals, and creating lasting benefits for future generations.
