The Green School Playgrounds working group consists of six active parents, supported by a team of teachers from the
Freinet School in Delft.
The aim of this project is to create a green learning environment for all pupils at the Freinet School Delft, centred around the school’s core values. We aim to integrate nature into education, so that children can learn, discover, play sport and play whilst being active. The design of the three different playgrounds must also be consistent, so that children have the same experience of the playground when moving between locations. In addition, the local community can also benefit from the greening of the playgrounds.
Together with the donation of het Groen Doen Fonds of Trees for All and the donation of us, we have been able to plant 96 trees and shrubs in total.
