Amsterdam’s City Centre Retreat:
Welcome to our original European boutique hotel, Kimpton De Witt Hotel, which exudes a modern approach to luxury through fresh, refined rooms and imaginative spaces inspired by Dutch design.
Experience an immersive array of contemporary millwork, lush layers, and clean lines. A journey where rooms open to grand inspiration and eclectic treasures.
Nestled in the heart of Amsterdam’s thriving City Centre, our hotel inspires you to imagine, explore, create, and find a comfortable place to relax.
With our unique personality and heartfelt service, consider us your personal sanctuary.
We invite you to live like locals. With one foot in Amsterdam’s rich past and another in its thriving present, our exciting City Centre location celebrates Dutch culture, art and modern urban energy.
Within a few pedals on our complimentary bicycles, you can easily reach the other beauties in the city (the first one is us)!
Why not walk around or cycle around one of the parks that surrounds the Museum quarter: the Vondelpark: as a snack I’d take a “broodje haring” (herring bun) and a delicious “stroopwafel” with your coffee, then to digest, have a look at all the shops in the “Negen Straatjes” or take a canalboat and let it lull you around the most characteristic canals.
Once you are back at the hotel, let us treat you with the colourful menu at Celia, taking its inspiration from California, Celia’s modern-American menu features market-driven, seasonal ingredients prepared and plated in a simple yet elegant style. Whether you want to indulge or opt for something nutritious, there’s something for everybody. The bar at Celia features an approachable wine list as well as a selection of bright cocktails.
And right before your night out, pass by Super Lyan – a casual cocktail bar offering kick ass cocktails, beers, wine and bites until late into the night. Come to think of it, why go out at all?
Fun fact about our bar: The friends of the ingenious inventor and world renown bartender couldn’t pronounce his name properly: Ryan Chetiyawardana – you get it- so they started calling him Mr Lyan which made him more approachable, and it slowly became his name. Known here in Amsterdam, Washington D.C., and England, he’s expanding more and more, so you must try it out!
