Northeastern Portugal is known for its special montado landscape in the Faia Brava Reserve, with beautiful grasslands and trees. This special landscape is characteristic of Portugal and Spain. It was created by animals grazing there and by people extracting products like cork. In short, an important environment for animals, people and nature. Unfortunately, more and more nature is disappearing due to forest fires, large-scale grain production and sheep farming. Farmers see fewer and fewer prospects and move to the city.
The result? The land is no longer maintained and is withering away. That is why we supporting Trees for All in restoring the landscape together with their partner ATNatureza.
How? Together we are planting 8,000 trees in the unique Faia Brava Reserve. In this way, we stimulate biodiversity in this special area.
